Why I chose franchising

I liked the concept of franchising and realised its potential as a route into business start-up for me. The main elements I identified as being beneficial were - proven sales, tried & tested work ethics, and the support & back up.

Before buying my franchise I was a HGV Lorry Driver / Shunter Tug Driver.

How I raised the finance

I raised the finance from an investment I had made when I was younger, with the remaining balance coming from a business loan.

Our first mobile car valeting concept became very successful around Maidstone and Medway in fact one of the main reasons we succeeded, is at the time we were the only Mobile car valeting company armed with mobile phones which seems unthinkable in this day and age.

Over the next twenty years and eight vans later we fine-tuned our mobile car valeting concept using our knowledge and customer demands to create the unique mobile car valeting service we have in place now.

We made the decision to leave behind the safety, security and regular income of main dealer contract valeting and put all our time and effort into franchising our concept across the UK

Mobile Car valeting in your local areaIn June 2004 we were approached by Jewelultra Limited to offer our experience in the Middle East with a view to helping them with the training in the use of their products while putting our successful mobile car valeting systems in place. There was an increase in the standard and efficiency for the dealers concerned, which I quote “resulted to levels well above their initial expectations” click here

Due to the on going success in the Middle East we have recently had some interest in our mobile car valeting franchise system and are now looking in to the possibility of Autovalet Direct becoming active in this part of the world.
